프로젝트 소개(Introduction to the Project)
취약계층의 건강과 안전을 최우선으로 고려하여 리모델링한 ‘일죽목욕탕’의 혁신적인 설계와 기획 내용을 누구나 이용할 수 있도록 오픈소스로 공개합니다.
(The innovative design and planning of the Iljuk Public Bath House, considering the health and safety of the vulnerable as a top priority, will be released as an open source for anyone to use.)
코로나-19이후 대중목욕탕은 점점 사라지고 있으며, 행정안전부가 집계한 목욕장업 현황 자료에 따르면 대중목욕탕 수는 2004년 3월 8,795개에서 2023년 1월 4,350개로 절반 가까이 줄었습니다.
(Public bath houses have been closing down since the spread of COVID-19, and the number of public bath houses has nearly halved from 8,795 in March 2004 to 4,350 in January 2023, according to data compiled by the Ministry of Public Administration and Security.)
취약계층의 경우 열악한 주거환경으로 인해 적절한 목욕시설이 부족한 실정이며, 지속적인 수도 요금 상승은 기본적인 위생 관리마저 어렵게 만들고 있습니다. 이는 개인의 건강과 위생을 위협하는 심각한 사회 문제로 대두되고 있습니다.
(Poor living conditions have made it difficult for the vulnerable households to have adequate bathing facilities at home, and the continuous rise in water bills makes even basic hygiene management difficult. This is a serious social problem that threatens health and hygiene of vulnerable people.)
이에 한국 월드비전은 글로벌 광고회사 이노션과 함께 세상에서 가장 안전한 목욕탕 리모델링과 목욕탕을 매개로 한 취약계층의 위생 강화 지원 사업을 기획하였습니다. 자세한 내용은 아래 오픈소스 문서를 확인해주세요.
