Spiritual Formation of Staff- World Vision partners with churches for the life in its fullness for every child in the world. (John 10:10)

about

Spirituality of staff is the driving force of World Vision. One of the most important things that World Vision staff should have in serving the ministry is to develop and maintain
Christ-centered spirituality. To do so, World Vision staff
starts a day with devotion every morning and attend chapel once a week.

Major Activities

Chapel and daily devotion
All staff members are gathered at chapel to worship together every Wednesday, and every
morning, they mediate on Bible Scriptures and share the prayer requests from national and
regional offices in the country as daily devotion.
Day of Prayer
World Vision marks every October 1st as Day of Prayer. Before starting a new fiscal year, all of World Vision staff members around the world commemorate the day kneeling down before
God to listen to His voice and to be revived with the power of the Holy Spirit so as to serve the poor and oppressed as good stewards of God.
Orphanage Staff’s Retreat
Staff members of orphanages sponsored by World Vision Korea pray together for the spiritual nurture of children they take care of and share their best practices at a spiritual retreat held for orphanage staff once a year. Also, the participants get training during the program to mature more mature spiritually.
